Coyote Jazz Fest 2010

Mark your calendars now to attend Coyote Jazz Fest 2010. The Fine Arts & Communication Department of Weatherford College will host a festival for high school and middle school jazz ensembles, small groups and individual students on Thursday and Friday, March 25th-26th. The festival will be a non-competitive, workshop oriented, educational event featuring ensemble clinics, master classes, and guest artist clinic.

Trumpeter Larry Spencer will perform with the WC Jazz band in a free concert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evening. Mr. Spencer also will present a clinic for all attendees from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Coyote Jazz Fest T-shirts and pizza lunch will be provided for each participant and director as part of the registration fee. Individual and ensemble trophies will be awarded at the conclusion of the event on Friday, March 26th.
